Metroid Dread popularity creates sales spike for previous Metroid titles on Wii U & 3DS
Now that Metroid Dread is at last in the fingers of Nintendo Change house owners all-around the globe, past entries in the Metroid franchise are seeing a recognizable sales raise on other components.
Thanks to the Digital Console offerings on Wii U, Metroid Fusion, the prior mainline series entry that produced in 2002 for the Video game Boy Progress, is now sitting at #1 on the eShop product sales charts in the Uk. Metroid: Zero Mission, the GBA remake of the initial Metroid, follows intently powering at #2, with Metroid Key Trilogy and Tremendous Metroid put at #7 and #9 respectively.
As for the 3DS eshop, Metroid: Samus Returns, the 2017 remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus, arrives in at #3.
Metroid Dread is available now for Nintendo Change, and has reportedly become the fastest offering Metroid match in the British isles. It is wonderful to see Samus Aran back in the spotlight and acquiring the consideration she much deserves.
