Bernstein Palace

The Bernstein Palace was designed in the Baroque type commissioned by Depend Geoffrey von Bernstein on the site of an aged Renaissance mansion. Architects have modeled on various German and French palaces.

This palace survived several cataclysms – floods, fires and even wars and armed insurrections. Just about every time it was destroyed, the palace was rebuilt and enlarged.

The palace was going through quite a few redevelopments commissioned by the descendants of Rely Bernstein. Through one of them a palace backyard garden was redone. Given that then, it has been deemed one particular of the most attractive Baroque gardens.
