Steam’s Next Fest is back with “hundreds” of demos and “oodles” of livestreams • Eurogamer.net

Operates from these days until finally next Thursday.

Upcoming Fest, Steam’s semi-regular on-line celebration – in which Personal computer gamers are invited to slowly and gradually drown in an unceasing deluge of demos for upcoming online games – returns currently, 1st October.

Initially titled the Steam Activity Competition, this eighth outing for the indie-focussed event (which gained the Upcoming Fest moniker back again in June), spans seven days – it concludes subsequent Thursday, 7th Oct – and guarantees “hundreds” of new demos and “oodles” of developer livestreams.

A entire list of demos, along with a complete broadcast program, can be uncovered over on the Steam’s Following Fest landing web site. As ever, it is a overwhelming line-up and tricky to know exactly where to start, but we are going to be aiming to help by highlighting some of our favourites throughout next week.

Steam Future Fest: October Version 2024

Valve’s past Future Fest gave us tantalising glimpses at the likes of Nuke Zone, Road 96, and Demise Trash, together with lots additional (though the stupendous Dorfromantik drew our adoring consideration back again in March), so it can be perfectly well worth having a scroll and viewing what catches your eye.

And, of training course, if you are notably dazzled by any of your demo discoveries, do truly feel free of charge to share them below.
